If the speaker is on our featured speaker list, we have verified their safe environment compliance. We also can provide graphics to you to advertise their talk. 

Our list of featured speakers are free to host as long as your event is open to all women, regardless of their parish.

Information about hosting Diocesan Speakers

If you are hosting a speaker who lives in our diocese, they will need to provide a letter of good standing from their pastor. The letter must meet the following requirements.

• From an official authority
  • If speaker is a priest, the letter must be from their bishop.
  • If speaker is a religious, the letter must be from their religious superior. 
  • If speaker is a lay person, the letter may come from either their pastor or their diocesan safe environment office.
• On official letterhead
• States when and where they will be presenting in the Diocese of Jefferson City.
• States that they are a Catholic in good standing AND compliant with their local safe environment policy.
• Written within a year of the event. 

If you are hosting a speaker from outside the diocese, they must provide you with a letter of good standing before their event begins. 

To speak in our diocese, a letter of good standing must meet the following requirements:
