IMORTANT OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Beginning July 1 (or when Administrative Assistant position is filled) Mary Madelyn Mertes (the current Administrative Assistant for Religious Ed, Youth & Young Adult Ministry and Womens Ministry) will be taking a new role in the Office of Faith Formation. She will become the Assistant Director of Catechetical Formation which will support Catecetical formation of the laity in a variety capacities and work on initiatives and resources for Religious Education. This role will also work with Marriage preparation and enrichment. She will be working under both myself and Deacon Enrique Castro. We are so excited to have this support and so excited for what the future will bring.

- Mary Madelyn will be joining me at the Regional Gatherings in April so that many of you will get to meet her. This will be a great time to meet her and learn about her experiences which make her qualified for this promotion. Please plan to attend one of these gatherings! A note from Maureen Quinn:
I will be out of the Office from March 21-April 7. I am taking 8 young adults, in collaboration with the Mission Office, on a Mission Exchange Experience to Uganda. I look forward to sharing this experience when we return, and plan to do so on the next DREYM Team Chat, April 9. I am back in the states by April 4 but will be spending a few days with my family 🙂
I will be praying for each of you on this journey and plan to pray for specific intentions at the Shrine of the Ugandan Martyrs and as we walk the Way of the Cross on Good Friday. Please send your specific intentions to me and I will add them to my prayer journal!

Summer 2024 Camps
Mark your calendars, registration for Summer Camps will open up on February 15! We have a new site for camps (in our diocesan jursidiction) and are excited about some of the activities this site will provide!

If you know of any young adults that love their faith and want to share it with others, desire to live in a faith community, and want to have fun while getting paid to do these things, please share the link below!
Teaching Touching Safety Program Reminder
If you have not done so yet, make sure to be teaching at least one class of Teaching Touching Safety to your PSR Classes and Youth Groups. This information needs to be recorded and turned into the Virtus Office. This should be completed by May 1.

Last fall we saw Protect Young Eyes present. Because of the visit, we have access to these lessons through this school calendar year. Please consider also using one of these lessons to expand on safety lessons. If you have feedback on these lessons, let us know! Protect Young Eyes is coming back in the fall and we hope to add these resources more permanently in the future. These lessons can be accessed here.

These Spring Regional Gatherings are NEW and a way for us to come to your areas and gather. We are hopeful that we have enough locations as well as offering fro day and evening. Lunch or Dinner will be provided at each location so it is imperative that you RSVP.

National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is coming to our diocese July 1-5
If half our parish communities worked to get a group at one of the events or opportunties along the pilgrimage, think of how many will witness this beautiful experience!
