Steubenville Registration Opens up February 13
If your parish is considering or planning to go to Steubenville STL let us know so we can help get groups connected! Email maureenquinn@diojeffcity.org
We will have a zoom call with those going to Steubenville in late January. This call will provide the following:
- Share about an opportunity that the diocese will be providing on the journey home from Steubenville this year.
- How to Signup up for Steubenville and what is needed for a positive experience.
- Opportunity to share best practices during the conference.
SEEK 2023
Numerous people from throughout the diocese are going to SEEK in St. Louis January 2-6!
Why attend a conference for college students? FOCUS now provides a Making Missionary Disciples Track that is designed for diocese, parishes and individuals.
If you or someone you know is one of these people, please let our office know so we can connect with others from our diocese. If you still need to book a hotel, numerous from our Diocese are staying at the Drury under the Arch.
I will be at SEEK from January 3-5 and would love to connect with you all!

Info on Upcoming Events
NCYC 2023
Registration is now open for NCYC for November 16-19, 2023. Group leaders register groups by Wednesday, March 15 (numbers are all that is required at this time.) After this date prices will increase.
Cost is $650 a person with $250 deposit. Registration is non-refundable.
Cost will include:
- Conference ticket for November 16-18
- Hotel (we hope to stay in the same hotel as previous years which is in walking distance and provides breakfast)
- Transportation (charter buses to and from Indianapolis)
- Long-sleeve T-shirt and diocesan swag/trader items
- At least one meal (our hope is to provide at least a meal on Thursday or Friday and Pizza after the final mass on Saturday.)
If expenses are lower than expected we will provide more meals or lower the final cost.
Confirmation Retreats for 2023
We have TWO opportunities for young people to attend a Confirmation Retreat and both will be led by young adults.
These retreats are not required but instead an opportunity for parishes and individuals that are looking for a way to intentionally prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
- January 28 will be led by NET Retreat Team in Jefferson City
- February 18 will be led by Benedictine Retreat Team in Monroe City
- March 26 will be led by Oddwalk and organized by St. Francis Xavier in Taos (please email Cathy at reled@sfxtaos.com for more info and to register)
The cost of both retreats is $20 a person to help cover the retreat team and lunch.
Generation Life - Archdiocese of St. Louis
This event historically has been in Washington DC but for 2023 they are moving it back to St. Louis and hope this will become an annual event. They have graciously extended an invite to our diocese. If you are looking for a Pro-Life youth gathering we highly recommend this opportunity for parishes and schools!
Generation Life has always been a high quality program that St. Louis has provided. This event inspires and gives tools to young people to proclaim the Gospel of Life. We are grateful for the invitation!
The event is for 8th grade through High School and the cost is increasing to $45 in the coming days.
