This form is to gauge interest in committees that we are hoping to establish to get more diversity and feedback from others. Expressing interest in a committee does not guarantee you will be on it because we are seeking a diverse representation of the diocese.(Required)

Confirmation Committee

Commitment: meet approximately 4 times, starting in October 2023

Focus will be on how we prepare the whole person for this sacrament together through our parishes and parish schools. We will suggest edits to the current Confirmation Policy.

First Communion Committee

Commitment: meet approximately 4 times, starting in 2024

Focus will be on establishing a policy for formation of First Communion which can be used in parishes and parish schools.

Religious Ed & Youth Ministry Advisory Committee

Commitment: meet an estimated 4 times a year, starting in late 2023

This committee will advise the office on what is needed in our parishes and give feedback for future plans.

Program Resource Committee

Commitment: meet an estimated 4 times, starting in late 2023

Help review curriculum, forms and other resources that can be used by DREs and Youth Ministers. We will present suggestions to the Rel Ed & Youth Min Advisory Committee for feedback.

Camp Advisory Committee

Commitment: meet an estimated 4 times a year,

Focus on advising the office on what is needed at camps, review previous year, give feedback for future plans, help strategize how to get the information out to families.
