Why Host Totus Tuus at your parish

The missionaries are young adults (and even seminarians) that are well trained and enthusiastic to share the faith! (no need to find teachers for a vacation bible school)
The program provides opportunities for community within the parish!
The program shares a strong love of the Eucharist and devotion to Mary!
The program fosters Christian Vocations!
The program models that you can be a faithful Catholic and still have FUN!

Notes for Summer 2023

A few notes for summer 2023 that we want to make sure you know before you complete the registration:

Parishes provide the behind the scenes, advertising, signup, setup, housing and meals. Totus Tuus provides the programming.
We are offering an opportunity for Parishes to get a discount! If parishes recruit a Missionary that is hired for Totus Tuus the parish will receive a $100 discount. This applies to each Missionary that is recruited and hired.
To help parishes subsidize costs, we recommend small Totus Tuus programs to consider sharing the program with nearby parishes.
It is required that the Priest be present in the parish on the week of Totus Tuus Program. This is because a key part of the program is the opportunities for the sacraments.
It is required that a parish coordinator (or another adult) be present during the program at all times. The missionaries are providing a program but the parish coordinator is vital to help with behind the scenes details, emergencies/injuries, parents needing to make contact, etc.
We will continue to offer varying options for schedules. More information on this will be released by February 2023.
The evening program is changing nationally to better support our parishes. The major changes for the evening program that impact parishes are as follows:
- The evening program will begin closer to 6 or 6:30 with dinner included and will last 2 hours. Parishes can do this in a variety of ways and we will help give suggestions.
- The evening program will function more like a youth group with only one testimonial talk a night (instead of 2).
- The hope is that this will be a launch pad or summer renewal for youth groups.

Parish Information

The total cost to host a Totus Tuus Team at your parish is $3,000 for the six-day program. The maximum number of children who can enroll in the day program is 80. Parishes with more than 80 kids will need to reserve two teams. If you plan to share the program with a neighboring parish please list the parish(es) in the "Co-parish(es)" line.

To register, complete this form and submit it to the Office of Youth Ministry and Rel. Ed. A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is also required to reserve your space. Dates will not be finalized until both the form and deposit are received. The deadline for deposits is Feb 1, 2023, but parishes are highly encouraged to submit it prior to then. Final payment is due by May 1, 2023.
