In February 2026, we'll be hosting gatherings in each of the 5 deaneries for clergy and parish initiation coordinators. These gatherings will be an opportunity to continue our renewal process that we began in Fall 2025. 

Unlike our fall seminars which were for anyone involved in Initiation Ministry, the February gatherings are specifically for clergy and parish OCIA coordinators. These sessions will be primarily looking at a draft document addressing what topics need to be covered in formation for initiation. Therefore, we are inviting those in parishes who are responsible for overseeing and choosing curriculum. 

In response to many requests for curriculum guidance, our diocesan team has developed a document titled "Essential Formation Points for the Catechumenate". This document is a comprehensive overview of all formation points that catechumens should be presented with as they prepare to join the Church. The goal of the February gatherings is to review the document and receive feedback on the draft. After registering for the event, you will receive a copy of the draft document at least 10 days in advance of the gatherings so you have time to review it.
