Chancery office Holiday closings, Catholic Missourian publishing schedule

The Chancery offices at the Alphonse J. Schwartze Memorial Catholic Center will close at noon on Thursday, Dec. 21, for Christmas and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
The offices will also be closed on Friday, Dec. 29, and on Monday, Jan. 1, for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.
The Catholic Missourian will not be published the weeks ending Dec. 29 and Jan. 5. The final issue of 2017 will be dated Dec. 22. The first issue of 2018 will be dated Jan. 12.
A special, full-color edition of The Catholic Missourian to welcome Bishop-elect W. Shawn McKnight will be published the first week of February and will be mailed to the homes of every registered parishioner in the diocese.
In February, as announced last week, the print edition of The Catholic Missourian will switch to a biweekly publication, while a digital edition with access to more news and other content will be made available and frequently updated online.
Issues of the print edition of the paper will be dated Jan. 12, 19 and 26; Feb. 2 (special issue with limited advertising), 9 and 23; March 9 and 23; April 6 and 20; May 4 and 18; June 1, 15 and 29; July 13 and 27; Aug. 10 and 24; Sept. 7 and 21; Oct. 5 and 19; Nov. 2, 16 and 30; and Dec. 14 and 21.
The deadline to reserve space for advertising remains 10 business days prior to the cover date for each issue.
