Bulletin announcement (right click here to download a print-ready version for the bulletin)

Our Catholic Stewardship Appeal begins in our parish very soon. In this annual event, Catholics from across the diocese pledge their prayers and support for vital ministries and services to our parishes and communities. In the next couple of weeks, you will receive a letter from Bishop McKnight inviting you to participate in this year’s appeal.  As you reflect on the information about the CSA and the life of our Church, please remember that we are called to give out of gratitude.  God’s blessings are so abundant, who does not have reason to be grateful?

Mass Announcement

The Catholic Stewardship Appeal officially begins in our parish NEXT weekend. Please prayerfully consider making a gift this year.  Read this weekend’s bulletin for more information.

Universal Prayer Intention

That through our Catholic Stewardship Appeal, all of us in the Diocese of Jefferson City may show our gratitude for God’s blessings and unite in a faith that calls us to care for one another and for all in need of God’s mercy and love…WE PRAY TO THE LORD.

Oct. 1-5: Priests’ Institute

At the Institute, participants will receive further information on this year’s Catholic Stewardship Appeal, CSA posters, and CSA in-pew cards.  If your parish will not be represented at the Institute, please advise Kathy Stegeman (gro.y1544389602ticff1544389602ejoid1544389602@name1544389602getsk1544389602) so that these materials can be sent by mail.

Bulletin announcement (right click here to download a print-ready version for the bulletin).

This weekend we begin our Catholic Stewardship Appeal at (parish name). This annual appeal is the primary source of funding for sustaining ministry and assistance for the 110 Catholic churches in the 38 counties that make up the Diocese of Jefferson City. As Catholics, we share in the responsibility for forming our priests and deacons; for supporting teachers in our Catholic Schools and PSR and for serving the sick, the poor, and the forgotten among us. Through the CSA, we do this better because we do it together.  Please be generous in your support of this year’s CSA.

Mass Announcement

Our annual Catholic Stewardship Appeal begins in our parish this weekend.  As noted in the bulletin, all registered households will receive an invitation and information from Bishop McKnight regarding this year’s CSA.  This campaign funds vital services to all of the parishes and schools of the diocese and to those in need in the larger community.

Bulletin announcement (right click here to download a print-ready version for the bulletin)

The Catholic Stewardship Appeal continues at (parish name). By now, everyone should have received a letter from Bishop McKnight asking us to show our gratitude for the many ways God has blessed our lives. Our Church is one of those blessings. When we come to Mass, there is a priest waiting to lead us in our sacrament of thanksgiving.   When a family member dies, there is someone to console us.  When disaster strikes, our Catholic agencies are there to help us recover. We have so many reasons to be grateful for our Church.  Please show your appreciation and support by contributing to the CSA.

Mass Announcement

Thanks to our Catholic Stewardship Appeal, we enjoy access to sacraments and the service of priests and deacons.  The annual appeal also funds teacher formation, ministry to youth, efforts in support of family and pro-life, and care for the poor and marginalized.  You can ensure that this continues by making a pledge to this year’s Catholic Stewardship Appeal. Your donation, regardless of size, makes a difference.

Third weekend

Oct. 20-21 or Oct. 27-28

Bulletin announcement (right click here to download a print-ready version for the bulletin)

The Eucharist is the source of our Catholic Stewardship Appeal.  Eucharist means “thanksgiving,” and the CSA is an opportunity for us to thank God for all He has given us, particularly the gift of His Son.  Both remind us that followers of Jesus are to be bread broken for the life of the world. Through the CSA, we make known the Kingdom of God by helping each other to live our faith and share our Gospel belief. From honoring the dignity of each life; to teaching people of all ages about our faith; to sharing our resources with those who are alone or in need, our gifts to the CSA and the ministries these gifts support are our grateful offerings to God.

Mass Announcement

The Catholic Stewardship Appeal depends on the contributions of faithful Catholics across the diocese to support many programs and services vital to our parishes, schools, and those in need in our communities.  Please consider the many blessings God has bestowed upon you and show your gratitude by making a pledge to this year’s campaign. Please be generous.

Fourth weekend

Oct. 27-28 or Nov. 3-4

Bulletin announcement (right click here to download a print-ready version for the bulletin)

The German theologian and mystic, Meister Eckhart said, “If the only prayer you say in your life is thank-you, it will be enough.” Still, how do we make our thank-you to God different from the thank you we say when someone holds the door or passes the salt? One way is by contributing to our parish’s Catholic Stewardship Appeal.  Through the CSA, we make available to others the blessings of the Church in our lives:  the nourishment of the Eucharist, the celebration of our most joyous events, and support during the most difficult. This thank-you makes a difference!

Mass Announcement

Currently, we are at {insert %} percent of our parish goal as we enter the final weeks of the Catholic Stewardship Appeal. Thank you to all who have made a gift or pledge.  If you have not yet done so, please know that we benefit greatly by the services and support provided through diocesan ministries. We appreciate any gift you are able to make.

Fifth weekend

Nov. 3-4 or Nov. 10-11

Distribute in-pew (or at rear-of-church) CSA solicitation envelopes (Provided for optional use)

Bulletin announcement (right click here to download a print-ready version for the bulletin)

We are near the end of this year’s Catholic Stewardship Appeal. For each one of you who chose to give back gratefully to God through a contribution to the CSA, we are deeply appreciative.  Catholics are a community of faith, and you recognize that members of any community, particularly the Body of Christ, have a responsibility to each other.  For those who have not yet joined your fellow Catholics in support of the CSA, we urge you to pray about it.  It is not too late and no gift is too small.  If you misplaced your letter from Bishop McKnight, look for a CSA envelope at the end of your pew.  You can also make a pledge by going online to org and clicking the “Giving” button.

Mass Announcement

This is the last weekend for the annual Catholic Stewardship Appeal, and the last weekend for parish CSA announcements. If you have not yet made a donation or pledge to this year’s appeal, you will find envelopes in the pews or in the back of church. Please prayerfully consider making a donation—all gifts are appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has already responded.

Universal Prayer Intention

That our Catholic Stewardship Appeal be successful and that those members of our parish family who have not yet made their stewardship commitment may gratefully and generously respond to God and their Church…WE PRAY TO THE LORD.
