Just War, Non-Violence, and Peacebuilding: A Catholic Perspective (Columbia)

Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 6:30–8:00 PM at Newman Church (602 Turner Ave) for a presentation by Dr. Gerard Powers of the University of Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. Dr. Powers will discuss Just War Theory and Catholic peacebuilding—timely topics amid today’s global conflicts and moral questions about violence, justice, and peace. The evening will include prayer, presentation, discussion, and light refreshments. This event is open to the public and hosted as part of Newman’s ongoing commitment to social justice.
