Helias Catholic High School is presenting West Side Story, March 10, 11 & 12 at the Miller Performing Center. The performance is at 7:00pm on the 10 & 11th and 2:00pm on the 12th. Tickets are $15.00 each.
West Side Story, which opened on September 26, 1957, is a landmark in American musical theatre history. Directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins, the show was written by composer Leonard Bernstein, librettist Arthur Laurents, and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
West Side Story, a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo And Juliet, transplants the young lovers to the violent streets of New York where they are doomed by social conditions they cannot control.
