Encounter Christ through Silence
Conception Abbey now offers silent retreats. The “Encountering Christ” retreat is a Benedictine style weekend retreat of silence for those who are looking to go deep in their relationship with our Lord, learn from the tradition of the Catholic Church and respond to the call to holiness. Our weekend silent retreats focus on Mass, praying the Divine Office with the monks of Conception Abbey, time of adoration before the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The four conferences are given by the monks themselves as they instruct you and encourage you to pray with Sacred Scripture and making it a part of your daily life. Enjoy the vast and beautiful grounds of the Abbey in the hills of Northwest Missouri. Cost is $250 per person.
