Immaculate Conception Breaks Ground on New School

An impressive assembly of students, faculty, diocesan officials and members of the community gathered with Bishop O’Donnell around a bevy of shovels last Tuesday to break ground for the first phase of a brand-new home for Immaculate Conception School. The facility will be state-of-the-art, but the commitment to Catholic values and virtues will be timeless.

Here is a link to the story in the April 17 issue of The Catholic Missourian.

Bringing Parish Community Together

Looking for a meaningful way to bring your parish community together around faith, dialogue, and encounter?
Consider hosting Who Is My Neighbor?—an engaging, free program from Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri designed to foster understanding and reflection on immigration through a Catholic lens.
Participants gather for a shared meal, enter into prayer with Sacred Scripture and art, and engage in guided reflection. The experience includes both large- and small-group discussions, creating space for thoughtful conversation and deeper connection. The program also introduces key principles of Catholic social teaching on immigration in a way that is accessible and grounded in faith.
This is more than a presentation—it’s an opportunity for parishioners to listen, learn, and encounter one another in a spirit of compassion and understanding.
Interested in bringing this program to your parish? Contact Catholic Charities' Director of Family Immigration Services, Marissa Flores Madden, at 573-415-7144 or mmadden@cccnmo.org.

Let us Pray

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle...

Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.
