Missions Special Collection
Thank you to everyone who helped coordinate our Missions Special Collection this past weekend!
Parishioners can continue to make gifts to this collection by using the special envelope provided in the July 11 issue of The Catholic Missourian, by bringing gifts to their parish office or by donating online at diojeffcity.org/donate-missions.
Parishes can then deposit the proceeds from this collection locally – please do not send the envelopes directly to the Chancery.
When the collection is complete, parishes should send one check to the diocese comprising the entire collection from that parish. Funds brought into the parish for this collection are considered extraordinary income and thus not subject to the tithe.

Let us Pray
In the name of the Father...
As we await the appointment of the next Bishop of Jefferson City, we invite our parishes and faithful to join us in prayer.
For our diocese as we await the appointment of a new Bishop and for Msgr. Kurwicki as he serves as diocesan administrator in the interim.
Let us pray to the Lord.

Prayer for a new Bishop:
O God, eternal shepherd,
who govern your flock with unfailing care,
grant in your boundless fatherly love
a pastor for your Church
who will please you by his holiness
and to us show watchful care.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.Excerpt from the English translation of The Roman Missal © 2010 International Commission on English in the Liturgy Corporation. All rights reserved.
Jubilee resources
Discovering God's hope during a Year of Jubilee
This holy year invites the faithful to embrace the spirit of hope. As we embark on this year of Jubilee, there will be numerous opportunities to experience grace, including by participating in special Jubilee Masses or joining a pilgrimage.
There are several new materials available to parishes, including branded assets, promotional materials, a pilgrimage passport and other handouts for parishioners. Please help us promote these unique opportunities throughout the year!
We encourage you to get started with our parish guide to the 2025 Jubilee Year. This guide includes information on how you can get involved as a parish, what resources are available, and ideas for creating Jubilee events at your parish.
This folder will be updated with resources throughout the year. Please continue to check the Monday Morning Memo for new updates!
