This newsletter is for the parishes and parishioners of the Central Deanery of the Diocese of Jefferson City. The goal is to help foster collaboration and cooperation between parishes — and to share resources to help all parishes thrive as they reflect the light of Christ in our deanery.

Save the Date! – You are invited to join others from your deanery for Parish Leadership Deanery Meetings which are usually held four times a year (see dates below) from 6:30 – 8 pm at the Undercroft of Cathedral of St. Joseph, 2305 W Main Street, Jefferson City. Parishes as Communities of the Beatitudes – a small group, four-week faith-sharing program available to everyone at no charge.

Book Signing
Immaculate Conception Women’s Ministry is sponsoring a book signing with local author, Joe Benevento. He will read from his book, “My Perfect Wife, Her Perfect Son”, answer questions, and sign copies! All book proceeds go to Catholic Charities and copies will be available. This event is open to all men and women of the diocese!
XLT Adoration
Join us on the first Wednesday of the month from 6-7pm for XLT Adoration at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City. This is an evening meant for time spent with Jesus in praise, worship and reflection. Confession will be available both during our regularly scheduled Wednesday confession times from 5-5:45 and also during XLT from 6-7pm. Music provided by our Praise and Worship band, reflections by the priest, and as always, Jesus exposed in the monstrance at the altar!
Come and pray with us and spend time adoring our Savior!
Ministry on the Move! With Sterling Jaquith and Barb Prasad
Join Sterling Jaquith, Author of Catholic Mom Calm and Barb Prasad for Ministry on the Move! Sterling will present on two topics: Solving Problems Like Mary, and Finding Peace in Any Storm. Food will be provided!

Seasons of Hope Grief Support Group
A new grief support group is being offered to everyone in the See City Deanery. It will meet at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays from June 12 to July 17 in the church cry room at St. Martin Church.
The Seasons of Hope Grief Support Group is for you if any of these statements are true:
- You are looking for friends in Christ to share your journey of sorrow.
- You’ve been trying to figure out the meaning of your grief.
- You want to get on with life but haven’t been able to.
- You find comfort in the teachings of Christ.
- You are open to new ways of coping with your grief.
- You don’t want to feel alone anymore.

Pews & Brews
Pews & Brews is a young adult ministry that focuses on the spiritual and social well-being of young adults ages 21-39. We usually meet at 5:30pm on the first Monday of the month for Adoration, Confessions and Mass at 6pm at St. Martin Parish. After Mass we enjoy catechetical formation and fellowship at Last Flight Brewery.
Upcoming dates for Pews & Brews are June 3, July 1 and August 5.
