Missions Special Collection — Thank you!
Thank you for helping support the Missions Special Collection in your parish. Parishes can deposit the proceeds from this collection locally — please do not send the collection envelopes directly to the Chancery.
When your local collection is complete, your parish should send one check to the diocese comprising the entire collection from the parish. Funds brought into the parish for this collection are considered extraordinary income and thus not subject to the tithe.

Relics visit was a success
Thank you to everyone who helped venerate the relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and Saint Manuel Gonzalez Garcia during their recent pilgrimage through our diocese.

Please join the Mothers’ Shrine and Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie, MO on July 30 for an evening of story and song with Joel Rosario-López and for an opportunity to support a program which feed more than 2.4 million children around the world.
The July 30 concert is free and begins at 6 pm. Food can be purchased 5-6 pm from food trucks at the concert site, 176 Marian Drive in Laurie.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Mary’s Meals. Named in honor of the Blessed Mother Mary, Mary’s Meals provides a daily meal at schools and other places of education for more than 2.4 million children in 18 countries. These life-changing meals bring hungry children into the classroom, providing physical nourishment so they have the energy and opportunity to learn and giving them the chance of a brighter future. The meals support families struggling to feed their children while boosting the country’s wider economy.

St. Joseph Church in Palmyra, Missouri, is accepting applications for a DRE/Youth Minister. Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for assisting the pastor in the responsibility for the Catholic faith formation for parish youth and adults
- Implements the Bishop’s confirmation preparation policy
- Organizes, schedules and oversees religious education in the parish
- Administers a formation program for catechists that leads to certification and tracks completion
- In cooperation with Diocesan Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister, orders approved textbooks, liturgy materials and other works that complement the religious education efforts of the parish
- Provides resources and programs for adult formation
