The Most Reverend W. Shawn McKnight, Bishop of Jefferson City, hereby makes the following appointments to provide the most effective pastoral care of the Diocese of Jefferson City:

PRIESTS

REVEREND PAULINUS C. ANEKE, PhD, from temporary associate pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Parish, Boonville and St. Joseph Parish, Pilot Grove to parochial administrator of St. Anthony Parish, Camdenton; effective 1 July 2023.

REVEREND ANDREW A. AUER, from the Archdiocese of St. Louis to associate pastor of St. Thomas More Newman Center Parish in Columbia; effective 1 July 2023.

VERY REVEREND JASON T. DOKE, acceptance of resignation as Moderator of the Curia; continuing as Pastor of St. Martin Parish, St. Martin, Dean of the See City Deanery, and Chair of the Diocesan Building Commission; effective 1 July 2023.

REVEREND SIMEON A. ETONU, pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Edina, St. Aloysius Parish, Baring and St. John Parish, Memphis, granted leave of absence to complete studies in canon law at Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., from 15 May and until 31 August 2023.

HOOPER, from associate pastor of St. George Parish, Hermann, Church of the Risen Savior Parish, Rhineland, Immaculate Conception Parish, Owensville and St. Alexander Parish, Belle to parochial administrator of St. Joseph Parish, Martinsburg, Sacred Heart Parish, Vandalia and its mission St. John, Laddonia; effective 1 July 2023.

REVEREND PHILIP M. KANE, from parochial administrator of St. Joseph Parish, Martinsburg and Sacred Heart Parish, Vandalia and its mission St. John, Laddonia to associate pastor of St. George Parish, Hermann, Church of the Risen Savior Parish, Rhineland, Immaculate Conception Parish, Owensville and St. Alexander Parish, Belle; effective 1 July 2023.

REVEREND WALTER KISPOTTA, from previous assignment as associate pastor of St. Andrew Parish, Holts Summit and then coverage at Holy Rosary Parish, Monroe City and St. Stephen Parish, Indian Creek to temporary parochial administrator of St. Joseph Parish, Edina, St. Aloysius Parish, Baring, and St. John Parish, Memphis while the pastor is on leave for his academic studies in Washington D.C. This appointment is effective on 15 May 2023 and will last until the pastor returns on or around 1 September 2023. 

REVEREND JOSEPH LUZINDANA, from associate pastor of St. Thomas More Newman Center, Columbia to associate pastor of the Cathedral of St. Joseph Parish, Jefferson City; and Moderator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Jefferson City; effective 1 July 2023.

REVEREND DANIEL L. VACCA, from parochial administrator of St. Anthony Parish, Camdenton returning to the Diocese of Wichita; effective 1 July 2023.
