Decree updating the diocesan priest vacation policy
In order to provide clarity to the Priest Vacation Policy and in consultation with the Director of Human Resources, the Vicar for Priests, the Director of Canonical Services, and the Vicar General, I have updated the Priest Vacation Policy.
This vacation policy is consistent with the norms of the Code of Canon Law.
I therefore,
DECREE
that the updated Priest Vacation Policy shall be promulgated by being published on the Diocesan website, and that it will take effect on 15 October 2022, all things to the contrary notwithstanding.
Given at the Chancery on the 8th day of September in the year of our Lord 2022.
