Not all parishes have completed final discernment of readiness for these rites, but to help us estimate the final number of participants, we ask you to estimate final numbers as closely as you can.

How many of the estimated participants have unresolved marriage cases?(Required)

Marriage cases SHOULD BE RESOLVED BEFORE catechumens or candidates celebrate the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion. You may make an exception to this if the catechumen or candidate has not remarried, has a clear understanding of the church’s discipline regarding divorce and remarriage, and agrees to follow the discipline of the church no matter how their marriage case is resolved.

Pastors must receive permission from Bishop McKnight to confirm adult Catholics baptized as infants but formerly uncatechized. Please submit this request in writing to Bishop McKnight as soon as possible.
