New Pastoral Plan

Faith, families, outreach and the future staffing of parishes receive special attention in Bishop John R. Gaydos’ new pastoral plan for meeting challenges and opportunities in the Catholic Church in central and northeastern Missouri. A copy of the plan, dated Pentecost 2010 and titled “Christ’s Call, Our Response,” was inserted in The Catholic Missourian.

Bishop: Buy Concrete and Steel

“Full speed ahead,” said Bishop John R. Gaydos as he approved the purchase of the steel and concrete to build the Father Augustine Tolton Regional Catholic High School in Columbia. The purchase will be the latest leap forward toward the school’s Fall 2011 opening date.
